School Based Health Centers (SBHC)
Envision New Mexico has been working with New Mexico's schools to improve the quality of healthcare delivered to children and adolescents since 2008. Typically the most medically underserved population in every state, New Mexico’s adolescents need physical and mental healthcare appropriate to their developmental stage.
OUR PROGRAM
Envision offers a multi-year SBHC-QI process for primary care and behavioral health providers to expand their knowledge base, add new patient skills, and acquire a set of management tools for efficient improvements to their SBHC systems. The program is designed to help every professional develop the capacity to support healthy development, and provide care to children and youth with medical and behavioral health needs.
