Developmental Screening Initiative (DSI)

The Developmental Screening Initiative (DSI) telehealth support provides information for people participating in DSI and other interested parties.

Pediatric Overweight (POW)

The Project brings a systematic evidence-based approach to pediatric overweight and obesity. Providers learn how to incorporate a comprehensive pediatric overweight prevention and treatment program in the primary care setting. Providers and staff get training in prevention, medical management, and Motivational Interviewing. Participants also receive clinical tools and technical assistance to support an office-based approach to this difficult issue. Participants learn to use the Model for Improvement in order to make real changes in how care is delivered to patients. Data on key quality indicators and make systems improvements that improve care to patient is required.

The Envision New Mexico School Based Health Center Quality Improvement Initiative (SBHC QII)’s Core Topics webinar program series offers basic information and training and provides didactic presentations on a wide range of topics, including behavioral health, improved clinical practices, community collaboration, Motivational Interviewing, and pediatric obesity prevention and treatment.
